Cup of Joe are rockstars in ‘Sandali’ music video
Cup of Joe bared themselves as the rockstars they really are in the music video for their catchy new track, “Sandali.”
In the MV, the band rocked out to the song while animations appeared around them.
Vocalist Gian Bernardino made his directorial debut, while fellow vocalist Rapha Ridao helped with the concept. Members Gab Fernandez, CJ Fernandez, and Xen Gareza also shared their voices for the first time.
In the YouTube description, Cup of Joe spoke more about the song.
“To mark our 7th anniversary, we present ‘Sandali’ — a song that holds a lot of meaning for us. It’s a quiet promise to one another, and to all of you who’ve stayed, listened, and grown with us through the years,” they said.
The band added, “This music video is a reflection of who we are — not just as a band, but as people who’ve been through so much together. No characters, no complex narratives — just us.”
“Sandali” is also the official soundtrack of Cup of Joe’s upcoming sold-out Stardust concerts at the Araneta Coliseum this October.
“We hope this gives you a glimpse of the feeling, energy, and heart we’re bringing to the show,” Cup of Joe said.
Cup of Joe is known for their hit song "Multo," which was included in their debut album "Silakbo."
In April, the song made it to the Billboard Global 200. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
