Kodaline disbands after over a decade

Kodaline has announced their disbandment after more than a decade together.

In an Instagram video, the group announced, “After over a decade together, we've made a difficult decision to say goodbye to Kodaline.”

“We know this might come as a surprise, and it's definitely bittersweet for us, too. What we've shared with you has changed our lives forever,” they added.

“From busking on the streets of Dublin, to playing shows across the world, it really has been the stuff that dreams are made of,” Kodaline said.

Wanting to “end on a high,” and before they officially say goodbye, Kodaline said they are heading to the studio one last time to record their fifth and final album.

“We are, and always will be, forever grateful for your love and support. It's been a journey that we will never forget, and we hope the music stays with you long after we're gone,” Kodaline said.

Kodaline is an Irish rock band comprised of singer Steve Garrigan, drummer Vincent May, guitarist Mark Prendergast, and bassist Jason Boland.

They are known for the songs “All I Want,” “Brother,” “High Hopes,” and “The One.”

The band previously performed in Manila at the Wanderland Music and Arts Festival in 2018, and for a solo concert in 2023.
