‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ teaser trailer gives glimpse into Dunk and Egg’s adventures
“A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms,” the upcoming prequel series for “Game of Thrones,” has released its first teaser trailer, offering fans an early look at the journey of Ser Duncan the Tall, known as Dunk, and his young squire, Egg.
In the two-minute video, Dunk, portrayed by Peter Claffey, is shown traveling across diverse landscapes with Egg, played by Dexter Sol Ansell.
The trailer shows moments of training, horseback riding, and scenes of social interaction in courtyards and halls.
The series also stars Finn Bennett, Bertie Carvel, Daniel Ings, Tanzyn Crawford, Sam Spruell, Ross Anderson, Edward Ashley, Henry Ashton, Youssef Kerkour, Daniel Monks, Shaun Thomas, Tom Vaughan-Lawlor, Steve Wall, and Danny Webb.
“A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” will premiere in January 2026, with a six-episode first season.
"Game of Thrones" premiered on HBO in 2011 and ran until 2019.
