New 'Wicked: For Good' teaser shows young Glinda; Ariana Grande sends love to child actress

“Wicked: For Good” is promising to tug on our heartstrings.

On social media, the movie franchise shared a new teaser which featured the young Glinda played by child actress Scarlett Spears.

In the teaser, an adult Glinda (Ariana Grande) gazes into a mirror as she places a crown on her head. The scene then cuts to a flashback of her younger self in a pink costume, saying, “I wanna be magical for real.”

“Every girl dreams of being magical,” the caption read.

Meanwhile, on Instagram, Ariana shared a black and white photo of her hugging Scarlett, and penned an appreciation message for the young star.

“My tiny girl in the bubble, played by the wonderful and talented [Scarlett Brielle]. Thank you for your beautiful work and for allowing the world to understand our Galinda more deeply than ever before. I adore you so,” she said.

“Wicked: For Good,” the second act of “Wicked,” premieres in Philippine cinemas on November 19.

Aside from Ariana, the film stars Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible, and Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard.

Its soundtrack will feature two new songs by Cynthia and Ariana.
