Masungi Georeserve extends Halloween nighttime trail until November 9

Masungi Georeserve is extending its Halloween nighttime trail, "Masungi After Hours: A Halloween Special," until November 9.

On Thursday, the award-winning conservation initiative in Rizal said that the extension comes after popular demand from guests.

"For those who missed signing up for the first run, this is your chance to step into the forest after dark — where science meets folklore and nature reveals its mysteries beneath the night sky," they wrote.

New trail dates have been added on November 6, 7, 8, and 9, with available time slots at 5 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 8 p.m., 9:30 p.m., and 11 p.m.

To join, guests must first register on the website and pay a P2,000 conservation fee. Groups of three or more can avail of a special rate of P1,800 per guest.

The deadline for sign-ups for the new dates is November 2.

Nestled in the lush landscape of Baras, Masungi Georeserve is a protected conservation area and eco-tourism destination known for its unique limestone formations, gorgeous views, and their thrilling rope courses.

Home to over 400 species of flora and fauna, the area is teeming with life, including birds, monkeys, lizards, snakes, and even the rare Jurassic Plant, which grows only in parts of Luzon.

Aside from their rich eco-tourism, Masungi also offers a lot of activities such as their beginner-friendly Sunrise Trail.
