EXO announces comeback activities after military service, but only with 6 members
At long last, EXO is making a group comeback after all the members complete their military service.
On social media, the K-pop group announced "EXOverse," a fan meeting to be held on December 13 and 14 in Seoul, South Korea.
They will then release their eighth full-length album in the first quarter of 2026.
However, only six members appear to be reuniting for group projects.
Suho, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, Sehun, and Lay will be participating in EXO's upcoming activities, but Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin — who make up the sub-unit CBX —are noticeably absent from the announcement.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the trio will not take part as they have an ongoing contract dispute with SM Entertainment.
On the other hand, this is Chinese member Lay's first official comeback with EXO since "Don't Fight the Feeling" in 2021.
The upcoming album will be EXO's first group project since their album "Exist" in 2023. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
