PAWS pet memorial wall in QC remains open to visitors this Undas 2025
The PAWS Neal Cruz Pet Memorial Wall located at the Philippine Animal Welfare Society's (PAWS) compound in Quezon City remains open to visitors who wish to honor their departed pets this Undas 2025 long weekend.
"You are welcome to visit and spend a quiet moment of love, gratitude, and remembrance for the animals who will forever hold a place in your heart. Let’s keep their love and memory alive," PAWS said in a social media post.
According to PAWS, the pet memorial wall is open from October 31 to November 2, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The PAWS clinic and office, however, remain closed on these dates. Shelter operations will resume on Monday, November 3.
The PAWS pet memorial wall opened in 2007 at the PAWS Animal Rehabilitation Center (PARC) grounds. It features memorial tiles of pets who have crossed the rainbow bridge, which owners can visit regularly to honor their memory.
The wall is not a columbarium nor a place to bury or keep a pet's remains.
According to PAWS Executive Director Anna Cabrera in 2024, the pet memorial wall features over 500 memorial tiles in honor of various beloved pets, from dogs and cats to rabbits, chickens, a hedgehog, a dolphin, and more.
