‘Toy Story 5’ introduces new character Lilypad in its teaser trailer

The fifth installment of “Toy Story” just released its teaser trailer and it featured a new character joining Woody and friends in an exciting adventure!

On YouTube, Disney Pixar released a 49-second clip which showed Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and the gang meeting Lilypad, a smart tablet given to their new kid owner Bonnie.

All the while, INXS' hit song "Never Tear Us Apart" was playing in the background.

“The age of toys is over…?” the caption read.

“Toy Story 5” was first announced in 2023, four long after the release of “Toy Story 4” in 2019.

“Toy Story 5” is set to premiere in cinemas on June 19, 2026.
