‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ first teaser trailer sees Anne Hathaway reunite with Meryl Streep

This iconic duo is back!

The first teaser trailer for “The Devil Wears Prada 2” showed Meryl Streep's Miranda Priestly entering an elevator, in bright red heels and dressed to the nines of course, holding an issue of Runway Magazine. When Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) pushes open the elevator and greets her good morning, she responds coldly, “Took you long enough.”

“The Devil Wears Prada 2” premieres on May 1, 2026.

Previous reports said the movie will center on Miranda Priestly as she struggles with the waning of traditional magazines. Meanwhile, Emily Charlton, played by Emily Blunt in the first film, is now a powerful executive for a luxury group.

Part of the sequel will take place in Milan, according to Reuters. Meryl and Stanley Tucci were previously spotted at Dolce & Gabbana's Milan Fashion Week show in September.
