Secondhand Serenade’s John Vesely jumps in for surprise duet with Filipina fan
Secondhand Serenade vocalist John Vesely surprised a Filipina singer after hearing her perform the band’s hit “Fall for You” in public while they were in Cebu.
On TikTok, the American pop-rock act uploaded a video of John approaching the performer after hearing the familiar song while he was out for dinner.
He then joined her for an impromptu duet, sharing the microphone as people around them cheered.
“When you’re out to eat in the Philippines and you hear someone singing your song in the distance…” Secondhand Serenade wrote in the caption.
In the comments section, the woman named Hidle Lyn Resurrecion uploaded their photo together.
“I don’t know what to say but this is my best plot twist this year. Thank you so much, you’ e awaken my ‘Emo’ Era. Waaaah Elementary Days,” she said.
“You are incredible!!!” Secondhand Serenade replied.
