The iconic earthbender has come to join Aang and his friends for the upcoming second season of Netflix's "Avatar: The Last Airbender."
The official teaser trailer shows Toph (Miya Cech) making an entrance and destroying a massive rock with her powers. Blind and barefoot, the earthbender is shown toeing the ground while coating her arm with stone.
"Everything is vibrating," she says. "All around us, the world is turning. There is a secret life beneath us. We're all connected through the earth."
The teaser also shows Aang blindfolded and touching the ground. Prince Zuko, meanwhile, is training with Uncle Iroh.
Based on the classic animated series "Avatar: The Last Airbender," Netflix's live action adaptation follows Aang (Gordon Cormier) as he trains to master all four elements with his friends, Katara (Kiawentiio) and Sokka (Ian Ousley). The prince of the Fire Nation, Zuko (Dallas Liu) gets in his way.
The live action series premiered its first season last February 2024 and was renewed for Seasons 2 and 3 in March 2024.
Dolly De Leon was previously announced to join the cast of Season 2, which is set for release in 2026. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
