'Stranger Things' Season 5 gives sneak peek at Vol. 2, raises the stakes in new trailer

"Stranger Things" is cranking up the danger in the upcoming second volume of Season 5.

The beloved group of young heroes, led by Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), are faced with unknown and unprecedented terrors as Vecna continues his attempts to take over the world.

"This whole time, everything we've assumed about the Upside Down has been dead wrong," Dustin Henderson says.

He and Steve could be seen staring up at a swirling red mass in fear, with the pair promising each other, "You die, I die." Other scenes show Eleven inviting Eight for a team up, Max Mayfield and Holly Wheeler entering a mysterious door, and Joyce Byers comforting her son, Will.

"It is time for a new world," Vecna says ominously.

"Stranger Things 5" Vol. 1 premiered on Netflix in November 26. Vol. 2 will be released on Christmas Day, and the finale on New Year's Eve. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
