Pop Mart opens 1st permanent PH store in SM Megamall

Pop Mart’s first ever permanent store in the Philippines is now open!

The popular toy and collectible brand opened the doors of its flagship store at Level 2, Building A, SM Megamall, on Friday.

The shop promises an expansive, immersive world, and features limited-edition figures and exclusive drops.

The store also displayed a 40-foot Pop Mart Christmas tree in Mega Fashion Hall, which will be up until January 11.

Then on December 21, Sunday, Pop Mart will host a fan signing event featuring Lang, creator of the popular character Hirono. 

Only 100 fans will be chosen via online registration, online contest, and offline raffle. The store will be exclusive for these fans to shop from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., while the fan signing will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The shop held a media day and ribbon-cutting opening ceremony on Thursday. Present at the event were celebrities and Pop Mart fans like Marian Rivera, Pauleen Luna, Jed Madela, and Hero Angeles.

Pop Mart previously opened pop-up shops at SM Mall of Asia, SM Makati, and SM North Edsa.

It is known for blind boxes of characters like Labubu, Hirono, and Skullpanda, among many others. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
