'Stranger Things' to release documentary on final season on January 12

Who's up for one last adventure with the cast and crew of "Stranger Things"?

Netflix just announced that it is releasing "One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5 Documentary," a never-before-seen look into the production of the fifth and final season of the hit sci-fi series.

As seen in the trailer, the filming of "Stranger Things 5" was nothing short of an emotional rollercoaster ride. The cast members, particularly Noah Schnapp, Millie Bobby Brown, and Finn Wolfhard could been shedding tears while reading the script.

The trailer also shows a glimpse of the writers' room, where a debate about Eleven's fate took place.

"God, I don't know how to play this," co-creator Matt Duffer could be heard saying. "Is she really going through with this?"

"One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5 Documentary" will be released on January 12.

"Stranger Things" debuted in Netflix in 2016.

Set in the 1980s, the story starts with the mysterious disappearance of Will Byers and subsequent appearance of Eleven, a girl with psychokinetic abilities, which leads to the uncovering of supernatural entities and government conspiracies.

The final episode was released on New Year's Day (Philippine time). —JCB, GMA Integrated News
