'Train to Busan' director shares look into new zombie film 'Colony'
The highly anticipated Korean zombie film “Colony” just released its first look!
It is directed by Yeon Sang Ho, the filmmaker behind the hit zombie apocalypse film “Train to Busan.”
On YouTube, film distributor Showbox dropped a 30-second teaser of the upcoming film, which stars Jun Ji Hyun and Ji Chang Wook.
In the teaser video, Chang Wook and Ji Hyun resort to desperate measures to fight and survive the zombie apocalypse while being trapped inside a building along with their colleagues.
According to Soompi, “Colony” centers on a group of survivors trapped inside a building due to an unidentified virus. They must wage a desperate fight for survival against the infected beings that continue to evolve in unpredictable, terrifying ways.
Aside from Ji Hyun and Chang Wook, “Colony” also stars Koo Kyo Hwan, Shin Hyun Been, Kim Shin Rok, and Go Soo.
“Colony” is set to be released in theaters this 2026.
