SB19 surpasses 1 billion streams on Spotify
SB19 has added another achievement to their name!
On social media Tuesday, the P-pop band proudly announced they have reached 1 billion streams on Spotify across all credits.
In their post, the OPM icons expressed gratitude to their listeners as well as their beloved A’TIN across the globe.
“To everyone who listens to our music: you are the reason we keep creating. Thank you to everyone who has pressed play and shared our music across the globe,” the band wrote.
“We truly couldn’t have done any of this without our A'TIN, who have made our music a part of their lives. We did this together, and we’re just getting started," he added, hinting at something new.
"Keep streaming our music and stay tuned for what's next,” SB19 added.
Spotify has yet to issue a statement on SB19's latest feat but the World Music Awards has congratulated the FIlipino performers for becoming "the most streamed Philippine Boy Band in Spotify history."
SB19 debuted in 2018 under ShowBT Philippines and later founded their own company, 1Z Entertainment.
Their group is known for the smash hits “MAPA,” “GENTO,” and “DAM,” among others.
SB19 is set to perform on April 18 at the SMDC Festival Grounds, to culminate the Wakas at Simula World Tour that saw the boys visiting 19 cities in support of their third EP of the same name.
The "Simula at Wakas" EP completes their EP trilogy, after "Pagsibol" and "Pagtatag."
The trilogy marks the group's Ikalawang Yugto. Their first era spanned from their debut to the release of their first album, "Get in the Zone."
