‘Formula 1: Drive to Survive’ S8 announces February release date

Missing the thrill? "Formula 1" is back on track!

"Formula 1: Drive to Survive" Season 8 is heading to Netflix on February 27, the show announced on Instagram.

The all-new season will highlight the thrilling 2025 Formula 1 season, where Lando Norris of McLaren earned the World Drivers’ Championship title for the first time in his career.

Other 2025 season highlights to watch out for include Nico Hülkenberg of Kick Sauber’s first-ever podium finish, Carlos Sainz ’s podium appearances in his first year with Williams, and Lewis Hamilton ’s challenging debut season with Ferrari.

“Formula 1: Drive to Survive” Season 8 will be released just before the 2026 season begins, with the Australian Grand Prix set for March.

Meanwhile, Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Williams’ Alex Albon have both announced their engagements to their respective partners, Alexandra Saint Mleux and Lily Muni He.
