Gabbi Garcia, Khalil Ramos get their happy ending in Ben&Ben’s ‘Duyan’ MV
Ben&Ben just dropped their latest single, “Duyan,” together with its music video!
The music video, which was released on Thursday, featured real-life Kapuso couple Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos navigating the ups and downs of their relationship and how they continue to choose each other amid the good and the bad.
It also depicts a wedding scene between the two, with Gabbi in a wedding gown and Khalil in a tuxedo. He waits for her at the end of the aisle, and they exchange wedding rings and share a slow dance.
The music video's release coincided with Khalil's 30th birthday.
“Duyan” is the third Ben&Ben music video that Gabbi and Khalil starred in. It is the third installment of the band’s "Mahiwaga" trilogy, following the hits “Pagtingin” and “Araw-Araw" in 2019, in which the couple also starred.
According to Khalil, starring in the project was a full-circle moment for both Gabbi and him.
“Thematically, it’s beautiful to see how the story progressed since ‘Pagtingin,’” Khalil said in a press release.
“I vividly remember how we shot those two videos, and the film ‘LSS.' Gab and I grew alongside these songs. At every stage of the trilogy, we could deeply relate to it, because it reflected the different phases of our own relationships through the years,” he added.
“LSS” or “Last Song Syndrome” was a film they both starred in in 2019. It was inspired by Ben&Ben’s hit songs.
Per Ben&Ben frontman Miguel Benjamin, he wrote "Duyan" in his car three days before his wedding to Karelle Bulan in 2023.
“Two years after I wrote the song 'Duyan' and kept it as a very personal part of my life, it made sense for it to be put out there. It also made sense for it to be the conclusion of the trilogy of songs/videos 'Pagtingin' and 'Araw-Araw,'" said Miguel.
He also praised Gabbi and Khalil for playing an integral role in bringing the band's visual narratives to life.
"You could say we’ve both grown so much in life and in our careers ever since the last project we did together. It was great catching up and telling stories of the past and making new memories," he added.
Gabbi and Khalil have been together for eight years. They will celebrate their 9th anniversary this February.
In September 2025, Gabbi attended Paris Fashion Week for the first time, and Khalil joined her as the ever-supportive Instagram boyfriend.
Gabbi is currently a host of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0,” alongside Mavy Legaspi.
