Intramuros Administration to offer guided tours to students

The Intramuros Administration (IA) will once more offer guided historical tours of several sites in the Walled City starting Tuesday, January 27 to students of public schools as part of its Pasyal Aral Program.

In a Facebook post, the IA said the Pasyal Aral Program is an initiative in collaboration with the Department of Education (DepEd) and with support from Metro Manila local government units (LGUs).

It is aimed at providing meaningful, educational, and historical tours for young learners.

The tours will be led by tour guides accredited by the Department of Tourism (DOT) and will include key sites in the Walled City such as Fort Santiago, Baluarte de San Diego, Casa Manila Museum, Centro de Turismo Intramuros, and Museo de Intramuros.

The IA advised the public to follow its social media accounts for updates on the schedule of the tours for Metro Manila public schools. — JMA, GMA Integrated News
