Blackpink's Jisoo enters a virtual dating service in 'Boyriend on Demand'

Jisoo of Blackpink returns to acting with “Boyfriend on Demand.”

On Thursday, Netflix released the first teaser for the upcoming K-drama series, in which Jisoo stars as Seo Mi Rae, a webtoon producer who is “worn out by life and tired of dating but still longing for romance.” She stars opposite Seo In Guk, who portrays her rival producer.

To bring some joy and give romance a chance, she turns to a virtual dating subscription.

“Boyfriend on Demand” will be released on Netflix on March 6.

In February 2025, Jisoo starred in the zombie apocalypse series “Newtopia.” The series is currently streaming on Prime Video.

As a K-pop idol, she released her debut album, “Amortage,” in February 2025, along with the music video for the track "Earthquake."

She was last in the Philippines in March 2025 for her first solo fan meet in the country.
