A 'One Piece' Season 2 fan event is happening in Manila this March
"One Piece" Season 2 is setting sail soon, and fans can celebrate its arrival with fellow Straw Hats!
Netflix has announced a series of fan events around the world, from Europe to Asia — and there's one taking place in the Philippines specifically.
Called "The Grand Line at Port Bonifacio," the fan event will be held from March 13 to 15 at the Bonifacio Global City.
Further details have yet to be announced.
"One Piece" Season 2, which arrives on Netflix on March 10, will hold its red carpet premiere in Los Angeles.
Netflix on Tuesday released the first official trailer for "One Piece" Season 2, showing iconic scenes inspired directly by creator Eiichiro Oda's manga panels.
Along with the trailer, Netflix also released a letter from Oda.
"All the conventions that were established in Season 1 will be shattered," the mangaka said. "A parade of Devil Fruit users, a race of giants never before seen, adorable creatures, hard-hitting action, and stunning VFX — this season is packed with even more highlights!"
Netflix's "One Piece" live action series premiered in 2023 and immediately became a global phenomenon. According to the streaming giant, it spent eight weeks on the Global Top 10, and reached no. 1 in over 75 countries.
The story follows Monkey D. Luffy and his pirate crew as they sail across the Grand Line in search of Gol D. Roger's legendary treasure, the One Piece. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
