Year of the Fire Horse: The two luckiest signs, according to a Feng Shui master
We're waving goodbye to the Year of the Wood Snake and saying hello to the Year of the Fire Horse as Chinese New Year is happening on Feb 17.
According to Feng Shui masters, the Year of the Fire Horse is going to be marked by passion, determination, and some times even extremes.
In a January 2026 interview on "Unang Hirit," Feng Shui master Ka Kuen Chua deemed two signs as the luckiest: The Dragon and the Snake.
"Because dragon and snake is in southeast. They are the superstars for this 2026," he said.
In a separate interview, Feng Shui master Johnson Chua said those born in the Year of the Dragon (1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012, 2024) have "strong energy for opportunities and growth."
"Good for career advancement, promotions, recognition, and influence, especially in marketing," he added.
Those born in the Year of the Snake (1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013) also have "good career opportunities and possible promotions at work" but they need to give special attention to their health.
In a December 2025 interview, Chua said animals considered friends of the Horse will also be lucky. These are: Rabbit, Goat, Ox, Dragon, and Dog.
Year of the Fire Horse is going to be a "fast-paced" one, so people should "always stick to your target goal," Chua said.
“Kulang sa water, madaming fire, so medyo kulang sa kalma ‘yung taon, so chances are maraming conflict energy,” he said.
“’Wag tayo magpa-derail. Mamaya, nagpapadala lang tayo sa emotions natin, saka ang Horse is ano’ yan eh, vengeful na revengeful pa,” he added.
As such, Ka Kuen advises to add more water elements at home to balance the excess energy that may come from the Fire Horse.
