'John Wick' video game starring Keanu Reeves headed to PlayStation
A “John Wick” video game is headed to PlayStation soon!
On YouTube, PlayStation dropped a two-minute trailer of the “Untitled John Wick” game starring none other than Keanu Reeves.
The trailer featured the ex-assassin in a battle against a troop of villains.
PlayStation said the game, a collaboration involving Saber, Lionsgate, and franchise director Chad Stahelski, will feature an original script set in the timeline of the iconic films. It will expand the franchise's lore and introduce new characters.
"Saber’s design will be faithful to the unique style and signature elements of the series, including a distinct gun fu combat system, jaw-dropping camerawork, immersive driving experiences, and a variety of memorable environments, all crafted to make players feel like they are in a John Wick movie, playing the role of John Wick himself," PlayStation said.
“John Wick” is a popular movie franchise which follows the story of Wick a legendary hitman who is reluctantly drawn back into the criminal underworld after retiring.
Its first film was released in 2014, and its latest installment premiered in 2023. —Jade Veronique Yap/JCB, GMA Integrated News
