The Chinese New Year is upon us!

For 2026, the Year of the Fire Horse begins on Tuesday, February 17. According to Feng Shui, this year is all about passion and determination, making it a good time to bring your long-term plans or dreams to life.

But what does the new year have in store for your zodiac sign? Here’s a forecast for the Year of the Dragon from Johnson Chua, a Feng Shui consultant and coach.

[Fifth in a series of 12 stories]

Year of the Dragon (1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012, 2024)

Lucky colors: Green, red, purple

Affinity numbers: 4, 1

In an interview with “Unang Hirit” and GMA News Online, Johnson said those born in the Year of the Dragon will have a good year with signs of growth and prosperity.

“Pero this year dapat stay put lang tayo, huwag masyadong padalos-dalos sa mga decision at ingatan natin ang emotion natin, huwag tayo masyadong magpa-apekto sa mga conflict problems,” he said.

Here are Johnson’s detailed forecasts for different aspects of life for those born in the Year of the Dragon:

Money: Money luck is strong and may attract good projects or business-related deals. However, you need to focus on managing your finances, as money may be unstable.

Career: It’s a good year to expand your network and resources, and it may benefit those in sales and marketing professions. However, too many opportunities can lead to distractions.

Love: Love luck is strong, especially for individuals who want to take their relationships to the next level. However, be wary of hidden issues that may cause misunderstandings, and practice better communication.

Health: Be mindful of emotional stress, frustration, depression, and physical injuries that may result in bleeding or bone fractures.

Just a friendly reminder: These are only guides. Our true fate will still depend on the actions and decisions we make in our lives. — LA, GMA Integrated News
