‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’: Episode 5 now among top 5 highest-rated episodes in 'GOT' franchise on IMDb

“A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” has reached a new milestone.

According to Forbes, the fifth episode of the series, “In the Name of the Mother,” had set a new record on the Internet Movie Database (IMDb), garnering a 10 out of 10 rating with almost 2,000 reviews even before it aired on Sunday, February 15. 

The website allows ratings and reviews at any time.

As of this writing, the fifth episode currently has an impressive rating of 9.8/10 with over 50,000 reviews and counting, putting it above the 9.7/10 rating of the fourth episode, "Seven." 

Episode 5 of "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" is now the series's highest-rated episode, thus far. It is now also among the top five highest-rated episodes across the "Game of Thrones" shows. 

Episode 6 is set to air on February 22. 

“A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms," a prequel series to “Game of Thrones," premiered on HBO Max in January 2026.
