BTS announces city-wide celebration of 'Arirang' comeback in Seoul
BTS is set to transform the city of Seoul into an unforgettable "Arirang" experience.
On Weverse, the South Korean supergroup announced "BTS The City Arirang Seoul," which will celebrate their much anticipated group comeback and world tour. The immersive event is expected to expand to other cities around the world.
Here are some of the things ARMYs can look forward to starting March 20, the date of BTS' comeback:
1. Media Facade
- Period: March 20, Friday
- Location: Sungnyemun Gate, N Seoul Tower
2. Love Song Lounge
- Period: March 20, Friday to March 22, Sunday
- Location: Yeouido Hangang Park
3. ARMY Madang
- Period: April 6, Monday to April 12, Sunday
- Location: Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP)
4. Love Quarter
- Period: Late March to Early April
- Location: Areas in Jongno-gu, Jung-gu, and Yongsan-gu, Seoul
According to the announcement, detailed information will be announced at a later date.
"We look forward to your interest and support for “BTS THE CITY ARIRANG,” which will start in Seoul and continue across more cities," it added.
BTS is releasing their comeback album "Arirang" on March 20, their first album since "Proof" in 2022.
They will make their return to the stage on March 21 with a performance at the historic Gwanghwamun in Seoul. It will be streamed on Netflix.
BTS will then launch their world tour in Goyang, South Korea on April 9. The first two stops of their tour will be broadcast in cinemas worldwide.
