What to expect from 'One Piece: Into the Grand Line,' according to the cast

The cast of “One Piece: Into The Grand Line” delighted fans during a lively fan event in Tokyo, Japan, ahead of the highly anticipated premiere of the live-action adaptation of the hit manga and anime.

As seen in a report by GMA Integrated News’ Lyn Ching, supporters gathered to see the series' stars and celebrate the upcoming season at Roppongi Plaza.

Lyn reported that the main cast members, Iñaki Godoy, Mackenyu Arata, Emily Rudd, Taz Skylar, and Jacob Romero Gibson, were introduced onstage one by one.

During the event, Emily appeared to take on a playful “big sister” role as she tried to referee her energetic co-stars Taz and Iñaki, whose playful antics entertained the crowd.

When asked what fans can look forward to in the upcoming season, Emily hinted at a much bigger adventure.

“There is almost too much to choose from,” she said. “I think we see so many new islands, so many new characters, so many new devil fruits.”

“There’s so much happening and so much adventure that I just think you gotta watch all of it,” she added. “Why choose?”

Meanwhile, Taz teased one particularly bizarre moment viewers can expect.

“What I’m most excited about, as aforementioned in season two, is yes, the otter wearing pajamas riding a vulture with a machine gun,” he said.

For Jacob, holding the event in Japan made the moment even more meaningful.

“If you loved Season 1, I promise you Season 2 has everything more,” he said. “Everything gets bigger and better and more fun and deeper, and we get closer.”

Netflix's "One Piece" adapts Eiichiro Oda's legendary manga that follows Straw Hat Pirates captain Monkey D. Luffy in his quest to find the ultimate treasure, the One Piece, and become King of the Pirates.
