A matcha festival is happening in Makati this weekend

Calling all matcha enthusiasts!

From March 14 to 16, matcha lovers can head to the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City for the Souk pop-up Matcha Festival, a three-day event that brings together matcha purveyors, artisanal bakers, and lifestyle brands celebrating the Japanese green tea.

The event will feature everything from traditional ceremonial whisked matcha to matcha-infused desserts and pastries from participating beverage brands like Hojichan, The Matcha Co., Matchanese, Matcha House of Lipa, Sari Matcha Bar, and Waypoint Sip, to name a few.

The festival will also feature a market offering premium match powders, whisking kits, and ready-to-drink lattes, as well as limited-edition items such as matcha pastries, “matcha-misu,” and savory matcha dishes.

From fragrances to local apparel, a selection of lifestyle products will also be showcased, alongside photo installations and a photobooth.

The event runs all weekend from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is free!
