Myrtle Sarrosa named Best Dressed Pirate at Netflix’s ‘One Piece’ event

Myrtle Sarrosa took home the Best Dressed Pirate title at a promotional event for “One Piece” in Japan.

On Facebook, the cosplayer and actress shared a glimpse of the themed activities she enjoyed alongside fellow content creators, along with the cosplays she wore: Nico Robin, Nami, and Chopper. It was her Nico Robin outfit that earned her the Best Dressed Pirate nod.

Aside from the costume competition, she also participated in games such as a Berries search and a hole-in-the-wall challenge, in which participants struck poses similar to those of the Straw Hat crew. The event also featured a creative photoshoot and a map-making activity.

During the trip, Sarrosa attended the red carpet event in a Miss All Sunday-inspired gown. She also previously transformed into a female version of Zoro.

Meanwhile, GMA Integrated News’ Lyn Ching shared her up-close and personal interaction with the main cast of “One Piece: Into the Grand Line,” where they talked about what fans can expect from the series and the bond they have formed with one another.

Netflix’s "One Piece" adapts Eiichiro Oda's legendary manga that follows Straw Hat Pirates captain Monkey D. Luffy in his quest to find the ultimate treasure, the One Piece, and become King of the Pirates.

The second season of the series is now streaming on Netflix.
