'One Piece'-themed display pops up at BGC Amphitheatre
Fans of “One Piece” can step into the world of the Straw Hat Pirates through a themed display set up at the Bonifacio Global City (BGC) Amphitheatre.
On Instagram Stories, Netflix Philippines showcased the large-scale installation inspired by iconic elements from the pirate universe.
At the center of the setup stands a towering recreation of Laboon, surrounded by Netflix-branded barrels and a simulated “sea” of blue flooring and printed waves, where cosplayers, including Allen Ansay and Myrtle Sarrosa, bring the Straw Hat crew to life.
Another section features a scaled recreation of the Going Merry, complete with its distinctive ram figurehead and a sail bearing Luffy’s straw-hat Jolly Roger.
Netflix’s "One Piece" adapts Eiichiro Oda's legendary manga that follows Straw Hat Pirates captain Monkey D. Luffy in his quest to find the ultimate treasure, the One Piece, and become King of the Pirates.
The second season of the series is now streaming on Netflix. —Carby Rose Basina/JCB, GMA Integrated News
