BTS gears up to reclaim their crown in Netflix documentary trailer
Netflix just gave fans a peek behind the curtain of the upcoming BTS comeback album, "Arirang," which will mark the supergroup's return after a four-year hiatus.
The streaming giant on Tuesday released a trailer for "BTS: The Return," where the seven members could be seen in various phases of their album's production — meetings, recording sessions, and casual hangouts together.
It also shows the group in Los Angeles, where they spent months living together to work on the album.
RM said that during their time in LA, they were "trying to figure out what makes us BTS."
The leader and rapper likened being part of BTS as "wearing a big, incredible crown." However, he added, "At our core, we're still just a bunch of country kids from Korea."
For "Arirang," RM said "authenticity matters," while vocalist Jimin reflected, "If we want change, now is the time to do it."
The pressure is on, the South Korean superstars admitted. After taking a step back at the peak of their career, and being away for four years serving in the South Korean military, BTS is pulling out all the stops for their comeback.
Still, RM said, "This might be something only we can pull off."
"BTS: The Return" is set to premiere on Netflix on March 27.
On March 21, the streaming platform will exclusively stream BTS's comeback stage at the historic Gwanghwamun in Seoul.
