Where to watch the Oscars 2026 winners
Many exceptional films came out the past year, and if you're not sure which one to check out first, take your cue from the Academy.
At the Oscars 2026 held in Los Angeles, Monday (Philippine time), standout films and the people behind them were handed trophies, with "One Battle After Another" walking away with the most awards of the night.
If the Oscar buzz caught your attention, here are some of the Academy's newly awarded films and where to watch them:
One Battle After Another
"One Battle After Another" was no doubt the star of Hollywood's biggest night.
Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, the action-thriller follows Bob, a washed-up revolutionary whose daughter goes missing as an old enemy resurfaces. He reunites with fellow ex-revolutionaries to rescue her while battling the consequences of his past.
The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, and Benicio Del Toro. At the Oscars 2026, it won six awards, including Best Picture and Best Supporting Actor for Penn.
It also won Best Adapted Screenplay, Achievement in Directing, Achievement in Casting, and Best Film Editing.

Sinners
You've likely seen screenshots or clips of "Sinners" going around the past months.
The horror film by Ryan Coogler made waves online, partly thanks to the team-up of Michael B. Jordan and Hailee Steinfeld.
The story follows twin brothers who return to their hometown for a fresh start, only to encounter a great evil waiting to welcome them back.
"Sinners" earned Jordan his first Oscar for Best Actor. It also won Achievement in Cinematography, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Original Score.

Frankenstein
Guillermo del Toro received some nods for his 2025 film "Frankenstein."
Adapted from Mary Shelley's gothic novel, the film brings to life scientist Dr. Victor Frankenstein and his immortal creation.
It won Best Costume Design, Best Makeup and Hairstyling, and Best Production Design.

KPop Demon Hunters
It's Huntrix's moment!
"KPop Demon Hunters," Netflix's hit animated film about a K-pop girl group that doubles as a team of demon hunters, won two Oscars: Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for “Golden.”
Since its release in June, "KPop Demon Hunters" has gone on to become Netflix's biggest film.
Aside from "Golden," the film produced several other hit songs, including "What It Sounds Like," "Soda Pop," and "Free."

Weapons
Yet another horror movie that was much talked about the past year, "Weapons" took home the Best Supporting Actress for Amy Madigan.
Directed by Zach Cregger, it centers on a town where all but one child from the same class vanishes on the same night.
It stars Julia Garner, Josh Brolin, and Alden Ehrenreich.

F1
Formula 1 has been gaining increased popularity in recent years, and the success of the film "F1" is testament to that.
Director Joseph Kosinski brings together Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, and Javier Bardem for a story about a promising driver who gets into a career-ending accident. Years later, he is asked to make a comeback to the track.
The Apple Original Film won the Achievement in Sound at the Oscars 2026.
