Real life Maui is here!

Disney has released the official trailer for the live action "Moana," and we finally get a good look at Dwayne Johnson's Maui. The actor and wrestler also voiced the character in the original animated film.

Moana, played by Catherine Laga'aia, finds Maui marooned on an island after leaving her home in Motunui due to an "evil darkness" threatening the seas. The demigod shows off his strength, the movie tattoos on his skin, and says his iconic line, "You're welcome."

He is also shown transforming into a whale, a hawk, and a shark.

The pair teams up on a high seas adventure to save the world.

Directed by Thomas Kail, "Moana" adapts the hit animated film of the same name, which was released in 2016. The new movie features original songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Opetaia Foa?i and Mark Mancina, and an original score composed by Mancina.

The film will hit theaters on July 10. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
