NPDC offers free monthly guided tours in Rizal Park until December 2026

In case you missed it, the National Parks Development Committee (NPDC) is offering free guided history walks in Rizal Park every month! 

The tour series kicked off in February and runs until December 2026. 

According to historian Xiao Chua, he will conduct every tour, save for the month of April. 

While the tours are all centered on Rizal Park, each one carries a different focus every month. 

The next tour is happening on April 18, with the theme, "Valor: Rizal Park Luneta and World War II." 

For those who wish to join the free guided tours, make sure to follow the NPDC Facebook page as registration details will be posted one week before each tour. 

Here are the dates of the upcoming tours: 

• April 18  - "Valor: Rizal Park Luneta and World War II"
• May 16  - "Pamana: A History Walk of Rizal Park Luneta"
• June 19 -  "Rizal Park Luneta sa Puso ng Republika ng Commemoration of Rizal's Birth Anniversary" 
• July 16 - "Ang Pamilyang Rizal at ang Katipunan: A Rizal Park Luneta History Walk" 
• August 15 - "Lakad Saysay: A History Walk of Rizal Park Luneta and Historiogaphy"
• September 12 - "Ang Paglawak ng Kamaynilaan: A Rizal Park Luneta History Walk" 
• October 29 - "Rizal Park Luneta sa Dilim" 
• November 14- "Have EQ, Like EQ: A Rizal Park Luneta History Walk on Elpidio Quirino"
• December 5 - "Paskong Pilipino sa Rizal Park Luneta" 
• December 20 - "Rizal in Manila, Manila in Rizal: History Walk of Intramuros and Rizal Park Luneta" 
• December 21 - "Pagtanaw sa Bagumbayan: Lakad-Saysay s Ugnayang Intramuros at Rizal Park Luneta"
