SB19 to perform at Japan’s Summer Sonic festival 2026 in August

SB19 announced on Instagram they are heading to Japan in August as they join the international lineup of Summer Sonic Festival 2026.

The group is scheduled to perform on Saturday, August 15, at the Tokyo stage, alongside Jennie of Blackpink, David Byrne, and Alex Warren.

Summer Sonic will be held at Zozo Marine Stadium and Makuhari Messe in Tokyo and at Expo '70 Commemorative Park in Osaka from August 14 to 16.

The P-pop Kings are definitely booked and busy because before Summer Sonic, SB19 is scheduled to perform at Lollapalooza 2026 on July 30 at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois, making history as the first Philippine act to perform at arguably one of the world’s biggest music festivals.

News of their international gigs precede their newest album “Wakas at Simula” which will drop on Friday. It will include six new tracks along with all 18 songs from their EP trilogy: “Pagsibol,” “Pagtatag,” and “Simula at Wakas.”
