‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’ series previews magical world in official teaser, set to drop Christmas 2026

“Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” has unveiled its official teaser, offering a first glimpse into HBO’s upcoming series adaptation of the beloved book.

The two-minute video opened with an ominous look at Harry’s life with the Dursleys before transitioning into his introduction to the wizarding world.

It also featured brief glimpses of key moments, including his meeting with Hagrid, his arrival at Hogwarts, and his wand selection.

The footage builds with sweeping shots and dramatic scoring, ending with a hint of the friendships that will shape his journey.

The series is scheduled to debut on Christmas 2026.

“Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” stars Dominic McLaughlin, Arabella Stanton, and Alastair Stout.

Production for the series began at the Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden, United Kingdom, last year. 

The "Harry Potter" series was first announced in 2023, with Francesca Gardiner to write and produce as showrunner. Mark Mylod will direct and produce multiple episodes. 

The TV series is an adaptation of the wildly famous "Harry Potter" book series by JK Rowling, which was previously adapted into eight films.
