Ben&Ben drops reimagined version of 'Lifetime'
Ben&Ben just released a reimagined version of “Lifetime,” and it's even more painful this time around.
The new version features new verses, an instrumental break, and a bridge, making it two minutes longer than the original.
The folk-pop band added lyrics about grieving a love that never existed.
“No fairytale ending if there was no beginning," they sing in the new verse.
Ben&Ben teased fans in an Instagram comment, “Sana oks ka pa.”
“Lifetime” was inspired by netizen who left a YouTube comment sharing the story of what she thought was a one-sided love with her best friend. Her feelings turned out to be reciprocated, but she only learned of it right before her best friend got married to another woman.
Ben&Ben's latest release was "Duyan," which dropped in January. It came with a romantic music video starring real-life Kapuso couple Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos.
"Duyan" comes at the heels of Ben&Ben's latest album, "The Traveller Across Dimensions," released in November 2024. It includes the tracks "Could Be Something," "Comets," and "Triumph."
The band went on a world tour in support of the album.
Ben&Ben recently teased a new single and a major concert happening this year.
