'Supergirl' fights to save her superdog Krypto in official trailer
“Home is wherever you are, buddy.”
Kara Zor-El, a.k.a. Supergirl (Milly Alcock), is on a mission to save her beloved pet, Krypto.
On YouTube, Warner Bros. Philippines released the official trailer for the upcoming DC Studios film, where Krypto is seen being poisoned by the villain Krem of the Yellow Hills (Matthias Schoenaerts).
To save her superdog, Kara must race against time and complete her mission in three days, and, in the process, find her place in the world, as Superman (David Corenswet) tells her in the first few seconds of the trailer.
The sneak peek also features antihero Lobo (Jason Momoa), with whom Kara teams up for action-packed scenes.
Directed by Craig Gillespie, “Supergirl” also stars Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, and Emily Beecham. The film is based on DC characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.
