Taylor Swift pays tribute to legendary Elizabeth Taylor in surprise MV
On April Fools' Day, instead of pranks, Taylor Swift treated fans to a surprise music video for “Elizabeth Taylor.”
Released on Spotify and Apple Music, the music video pays tribute to the legendary British-American actress Elizabeth Taylor through archival footage from her films and real-life moments over the years.
The music video featured clips from films “Cleopatra,” “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?”, “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,” and “Boom!”
“Elizabeth Taylor” is part of the American pop star’s latest album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” released in October 2025. It also includes tracks such as “The Fate of Ophelia,” “Opalite,” and “Eldest Daughter.”
Meanwhile, Taylor has been engaged to football star Travis Kelce since August 2025, and the couple is reportedly set to marry on June 13. —Hermes Joy Tunac/JCB, GMA News
