Olivia Rodrigo has finally announced her highly anticipated third studio album!

On Thursday evening (PHT), the Grammy-winning Filipino-American pop star revealed that her upcoming album is titled “You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love” and will drop on June 12.

In a note shared through Olivia’s newsletter, the 23-year-old artist opened up about the emotional process behind her upcoming music.

“No matter how hard I try to write love songs they always come out laced with a little melancholy. I am so proud of this record and I can’t wait for you to hear it,” she said.

She also revealed the album cover, which shows her upside-down on a swing set, wearing a pink babydoll dress. The word “love” can be found on a white underlay seen at the bottom of her outfit.

The upcoming record arrives nearly three years after "Guts" (2023) and notably breaks her streak of four-letter album titles. The album also marks a visual departure from her past eras, "Sour" and "Guts," stepping away from the signature purple aesthetic.

The tracklist for the album has yet to be announced.

In 2024, Olivia visited the Philippines for her first concert in the country.

During the sold-out show, Olivia proudly showcased her Filipino blood—thanking her kababayans, wearing a “Miss So Filipina” sash, writing “Pinoy Pride” on her statement tee, and more.

She told Jimmy Fallon that the Filipinos in the crowd were "such good singers."
