The Studio Ghibli Film Festival 2026 takes place this April, bringing five of the animation studio's beloved films to select cinemas in the Philippines.

According to Reality MM Studios, the five films are "Spirited Away," "Howl's Moving Castle," "My Neighbor Totoro," "Castle in the Sky," and "Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea."

The films will be screened from April 15 to April 21 at SM Cinemas nationwide.

Tickets in Metro Manila are priced at P275 each, while tickets in the provinces cost P230 each.

Studio Ghibli was founded in 1985 by directors Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata, and producer Toshio Suzuki.

The animation studio is also behind the films "Princess Mononoke," "Nausicaa," "The Wind Rises," "Kiki's Delivery Service," "The Boy and the Heron," and "Whisper of the Heart," among many others.

"The Boy and the Heron" won Best Animated Feature at the Academy Awards in 2024.
