BTS kicks off 'Arirang' world tour in rainy Seoul
BTS has officially kicked off their much awaited world tour, their first in six years.
The rain didn't stop the pop kings from performing for fans at the Goyang Stadium in South Korea on Thursday night, two weeks after releasing their record-shattering comeback album, "Arirang."
The band performed all songs from "Arirang" barring "One More Night," along with some old favorites and hits, opening the show with "Hooligan" and ending it with "Into the Sun."

Present at the concert were Kapuso personalities and BTS fans Shaira Diaz, Megan Young, and Mariz Umali.
This is BTS' first world tour since the "Love Yourself" world tour in 2019.
They were meant to embark on a massive world tour in 2020 for "Map of the Soul: 7," but cancelled it due to the pandemic.
The "Arirang" world tour will have over 80 dates, spanning 34 regions across five continents.
BTS is scheduled to hold a show in the Philippines in 2027. —JCB, GMA News
