‘Insidious: Out of the Further’ trailer teases mom’s dangerous link to spirit world

“Insidious: Out of the Further” has dropped its official trailer, ushering in a new chapter in the supernatural horror franchise.

In the trailer, the upcoming film introduces Gemma (Amelia Eve), a young mother whose quiet life with her daughter is shattered by increasingly vivid and disturbing visions.

As the hauntings escalate, Gemma learns from psychic expert Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) that she possesses a rare yet dangerous ability to navigate into “The Further,” a realm between life and death.

But Gemma’s gift (or a curse) put her and her daughter’s lives at risk as the boundary between their reality and “The Further” began to merge.

"Insidious," released in 2010, kick-started the popular horror franchise. The story revolves around a family who experience paranormal events.
