There’s no heated rivalry in Laufey’s “Madwoman” official music video, just a mad love and a celebration of Asian culture.

The MV brought together an all-Western Asian (Wasian) cast, including “Heated Rivalry” star Hudson Williams, Olympic gold medalist Alyssa Liu, Katseye member Megan Skiendiel, and “The Summer I Turned Pretty” star Lola Tung.

Packed with Asian references, the video features a fish dish, a dim sum bamboo steamer, and mahjong. At one point, the MV becomes reminiscent of Wong Kar Wai’s “In the Mood for Love.”

In the video, Hudson plays the charming heartthrob and Laufey’s love interest, while Alyssa, Lola, and Megan portray her supportive friends.

On Instagram, the Icelandic-Chinese singer thanked Hudson, Alyssa, Lola, and Megan for being part of the project.

The song is included in "A Matter of Time: The Final Hour," the deluxe version of the earlier release "A Matter of Time." It will also drop on Friday.

Shortly after, Laufey will go on tour in support of the new record, heading to Manila in May for a three-day residency at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
