Ariana Grande flexes comedic chops in ‘Focker-In-Law’ trailer

There’s a new addition to the Focker family, and it's none other than Ariana Grande.

Universal Pictures has released the official trailer for "Focker-In-Law," introducing Olivia (Ariana), who is determined to win over the family of her boyfriend, Henry (Skyler Gisondo).

The nearly three-minute YouTube trailer opens with a lie detector test that quickly spirals into a clash of personalities. Tensions rise further when Olivia reveals she is an FBI hostage negotiator, prompting Greg (Ben Stiller) to suspect she could manipulate their family dynamic.

As chaos unfolds, patriarch Jack Byrnes (Robert De Niro) considers whether Olivia should be welcomed into the family’s “circle of trust.”

Slated for a November release, “Focker-In-Law” is the fourth installment of the “Meet the Parents” (2020) franchise, following “Meet the Fockers” (2004) and “Little Fockers” (2010). —Hermes Joy Tunac/JCB, GMA News
