Katy Perry drops ‘The One That Got Away’ director’s cut MV after 15 years
Katy Perry is throwing it back to 2010, reminding fans of their own “TOTGA.”
More than 15 years after releasing “The One That Got Away,” the American singer unveiled the director’s cut of the iconic music video on Wednesday night (Philippine time).
The extended MV features a longer version of the fictional love story accompanying the song, about a young romance that abruptly ends one night, leading to a tragic accident.
On Instagram, Katy shared that the director’s cut had been “in the vault” for 15 years, but her fans and supporters have “given it a reason to come out and play.”
