'Clayface': DC Studios debuts teaser for its first-ever horror thriller
DC Studios is venturing into the horror genre for the first time with "Clayface."
The official teaser of James Watkins' upcoming film dropped on Thursday, giving a glimpse of the origins of the titular Gotham City villain, played by Tom Rhys Harries.
"Clayface" unravels one man’s horrifying descent from rising Hollywood star to revenge-filled monster in a story that explores the loss of one’s identity and humanity, corrosive love, and the dark underbelly of scientific ambition.
The film also stars Naomi Ackie, David Dencik, Max Minghella and Eddie Marsan, as well as Nancy Carroll and Joshua James.
Mike Flanagan, famous for his horror shows "The Haunting of Hill House," "Midnight Mass," and "The Fall of the House of Usher," created the story and co-wrote the screenplay with Hossein Amini.
