Nintendo's first authorized store in PH to open in Makati this May

Heads up, gamers: Nintendo is formally setting up shop in the Philippines!

On Facebook, SM Makati announced that the video game company's first authorized store in the Philippines is set to open next month.

The post came with a photo of a construction barricade already in place at the site, displaying a cheerful Mario with a large “Coming Soon” message.

According to the store’s newly created page, the shop will be located at Level 2 of SM Makati.

Nintendo is known for creating some of the world’s most popular gaming franchises, including “Mario,” “Pokémon,” and “The Legend of Zelda.”

It develops gaming consoles like the Nintendo Switch and produces games enjoyed by fans worldwide.
