'Scooby-Doo: Origins' shares first look at Mystery Gang as series enters production
Netflix has unveiled the first look at its upcoming live-action series “Scooby-Doo: Origins,” confirming that production is officially underway.
In a post on Instagram, the streaming giant teased, “Jinkies!! The scooby gang has started production on SCOOBY-DOO: ORIGINS!!”
The accompanying photo introduces the new Mystery Inc. lineup: McKenna Grace as Daphne Blake, Tanner Hagen as Shaggy Rogers, Abby Ryder Fortson as Velma Dinkley, and Maxwell Jenkins as Fred Jones.
The playful image shows the cast stacked behind a partially open barn door.
While Scooby-Doo himself is notably absent, a small paw print detail on the door frame hints at the beloved canine’s presence.
Netflix announced the live-action adaptation of "Scooby-Doo" last year with eight episodes.
Created in 1969, "Scooby-Doo" follows the adventures of teenagers Fred, Daphne, Velma, and Shaggy, and their Great Dane, Scooby-Doo. Together, they form the crime-solving gang, Mystery Inc.
