Elle Woods in Seattle? That is unheard of.

In the official teaser for “Elle,” Elle (Lexi Minetree) and her family move to Seattle due to her father’s work as a doctor. Having lived her whole life in Bel-Air, California, Elle has to adjust from sunny days to rainy weather and from blonde friends to dark-haired classmates for two years.

The upcoming series will follow the story of Elle's high school life before she became a Harvard-educated lawyer in “Legally Blonde.” The series is set to premiere on July 1 on Prime Video.

In the first "Legally Blonde" movie, released in 2001, Elle attempts to win back her ex-boyfriend by earning a degree from Harvard Law School, but ends up becoming a successful lawyer in the process.

In the 2003 sequel "Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde," Elle heads to Washington, D.C. to fight for animal rights before eventually setting her sights on the White House. —Hermes Joy Tunac/JCB, GMA News
